Three days of great cycling completed in Languedoc, France. Final day from Herepian, over the Col des Treize Vents and down to St Gervais-sur-Mare. Up to La Croix-de-Mounis (809m) and onto Murat-sur-Vebre. After a lunch break there, onto La Salvetat-sur-Agout alongside Lac du Laouzas. Then a climb out of Salvetat and a great descent into St Pons-de-Thomieres. Unfortunately, the weather turned and the final descent was in heavy rain and a drop in temperature, so a relief to get to the mini-bus. In total 1750m of ascent and 1550m descent over the day. Completely different terrain to the previous days cycle routes; less Mediterranean due to a more temperate climate and rolling green hills with arable and livestock farms, reminiscent of parts of the UK.
